Hi there ,  "east coast australia 'Swaylock's crew " !

 

  tomorrow , [tuesday, 19th june 2012] , my brother and his son Eli  leave philip island on a two week holiday , heading north to coffs harbour , to visit our folks , and ? possibly?  points north ?

 

they will be taking THIS with them , among other boards ...

  keep an eye out for them , at a [probably right hand] point break near you .

 

If you see them , don't be afraid to go up and introduce yourself to them , eh ?

 

  the board is Eli's , it's 'something like' 5'11 x 20 x 2 5/8" , from memory . Shaped by Glyndon Ringrose , at Island Surfboards , philip island , victoria.

  It will be the first time it has been ridden with this setup ...

  Brett , there is EVERY chance you may see them , as his best mate kim [ did you see the G and S balsa resto thread ? ....  http://www2.swaylocks.com/forums/what-my-brother-restored-g-and-s-balsa-single-fin-gun ] lives    ?maybe 200 metres? from you ?!

 

  and Simon will be delivering the board to him ,  in a few days time....

 

  so keep your eyes PEELED , eh ?

 

[if you like , I can let Simon know ... it might be good for you to meet at least ONE of us swaylockians ?!  [he  is 'lazarus' , here ...]

interesting you say that , Brett ,

 

  because Simon's comment was that , on this PARTICULAR board at least , he preferred the thruster setup , too .

 

Still , at least he gave it a go for the month that he was away , up the north coast ... proving that 55 year old surfers 'CAN' have OPEN MINDS ... 'IF' THEY WANT TO , that is !

 

Tomorrow [Wednesday , here in Oz] , he leaves for his three months in Indo stint ... armed with a brand new , 'thinner railed' version of his 6'6" widowmaker ...yeeehaaaaw Simon , STOKED !

 

I look forward to seeing [photos] how it goes ! ['facebook' , no doubt , will have "the chipper travels" fairly well  documented !]

  he 'could' [?maybe?] will be dropping by here [perth] , sometime in october .

So ....

 

    'IF' the [Ambrose-made]  "Swaylocks World Travel Board" has been here [a while] by then [and , depending how much stuff Simon is travelling with , of course ]...

.... "maybe it "could" head east , with him ??
