Lam-hot-gloss but looks like I need another gloss, which is actually the same resin. Approx an added 24oz. But what’s that in true weight? Board right now weighs 17-lbs.

17 is a 9’ poly glass weight.
Make sure you sand SMOOTH (180) existing gloss.
It’s 10’2" x 23.25 x 3, wide nose, used a super green 10’7"H blank, so right now 17 lbs is perfect. I’ll see how it sands down to 600 and polish tommorrow before making a decision.
