I have been through this once through trial and error, i have laminated one surfboard with polyester resin, however it was a struggle and didn’t come out quite right due to too little time. What is the minimum absolute minimum percentage of MEKP catalyst I can use to still have polyester resin go off? I believe the first time i used 1-2 percent however it was extremely fast and hard to work with, just wondering if i used 1/4 or 1/2 percent will the resin still go off? Climate is 75-83 degrees fahrenheit and very humid with no direct sunlight
how old is the catalyst and resin? fresh is more lively

fresh is… more predictable…test batches are required for peace of mind confidence?wild men and cowboy bravery can go along way
but test batches ca give you hard information everything else is pure speculative drip drying boars on a hot day.
