Will conventional solarium cure uv poly resin?

I dont wanna be dependent on sunny days anymore so im thinking about buying an old solarium on ebay…

my question is:

Will a conventional solarium cure silmar uv resin (poly)??

Could not find anything on the web about wether the UV A the UV B rays let the resin cure…

help much appreciated!

have a nice day everyone!

Yup they work great. I bought one a couple years back and have been using for every board since. I actually took mine apart and used the parts to build more of a curing oven setup. The one i purchased was a canopy (top half only) which provided more than enough bulbs to get the job done.

Why not just add catalyst?  I always add cat to UV resin and use the sun to quickly “finish off” the cure

edit: misunderstood your question so I deleted my original response

Great. thats good news, Thanks!  I Found one on ebay for just 20 euros with fresh bulbs as the offer says. its only the upper half, too.

@Bud

i build hws only so theres a freaking lot of work going into each board before getting glassed.  i just wanna go safe and dont mess anything up… it kind of gives me a good feeling not to be in a hurry.
