this has some surf content. just looking for some info. don;t like it, oh well. i am heading to surf in Carolina beach. i wanted to know if anyone has had experience in this area. particulary about where to stay. how far of a ride is it from wilmington?

i have had some good waves in carolina during a storm at one of the many broken down piers.
You Eastcoasters have got STOKE. My daughter goes to college in North Carolina (but surfs here in San Diego) and hits your coast twice a year. She couldn’t believe the number of guys out in freezing rain surfing total sh*t. She said she had seen better surf at South Shore Lake Tahoe. My hat’s off to y’all. Her story made me feel real guilty last week when I came in from head high perfection because a south wind had put a little texture on the face…
