Hey! Anyone going down to San Diego tomorrow to participate (or just watch)? Can I coerce you into taking some pics and posting 'em here? I’d love to see someone do this on a SUP. I board fish here in NJ occasionally, and I’d also like to see what the participants are using for equipment these days - this doesn’t appear to be the world’s best organized event, and the latest pics on the site are from 2003. Since this has also been Shark Week on Discovery Channel, I wonder if anyone has ever been bitten or threatened by the men in the grey suits during the tournament. If not, it would seem to go against the attribution of some incidents to possessing (once) live bait or catching fish.
