Is there any special way to shape wings into a fish type board when first > starting out?? …Wings are generally added to the outline hence the name wing.If you draw your outline then cut into the outline (rail/tail) to make a wing,it’s really a notch tail not a wing tail.Draw a straight line across the blank where you want the wings(after the outline is drawn out).using your template, draw another outline say 1/2" away from the original outline from the crossline ,then go up, blending back into the boardrail. How far up…is up to you. You don’t have to us your template either,you can us a ruler,or some edge out of the junk pile.
