Wood KiteBoards-which Laminants best for flex??

Hello im going to be meking my own kiteboard out of marine plywood. I only weigh in a 125 LBS. So i can get away with using less plys and therefore making a lighter board with more flex. I need to know what glue i could use that flexes well with the wood plys. and maybe what new materials would ad strength and lightness? Is there an epoxy that is strong an plexable?

I look forward to your comments+suggestions, i am a new to kiteboarding but i have shaped and glassed my own surfboard, and i am not affraid to experiment.

thanks

Phil

I weigh 155lbs.

Use top and bottom 1/8" Luan ply and 5/8" styro.

Either non set, or Elmers, white or wood, set for a week, works fine. Then glass with one layer of 6oz bottom, and heel areas 3 layers of 6oz, 6oz deck.

Good flex on a 150 deck.

So you are sandwiching the 5/8" styro between two 1/8" wood plys?

So Elmers wood glue DOES adhere to the Styro well…this worried me. I like this idea now becouse if i remember right elmers does not crack or dry too hard…it remains flexable no? Whats the best styro and where can i git it?
