This is a board made from extruded foam that bubbled up. Good board, hated to toss it. sooooo, re-do.
Would appreciate feed back.

I like the way it looks!
So, if I understand you correctly, you didn’t initially plan on using the wood laminated deck? Had you already glassed the board then added the wood lamination on top of the glass? Did you weight the wood down when you laminated it on the deck? Can you give some construction details?
Thanks,
Rick
Rick, This board was made last winter. Originally it was a blue swirl tinted resin. It was made from lowes blue foam sandwiched together, s glass and epoxy. Used this board in 1-6 feet surf, but was made for smaller surf and it did wonderfully. First time out it was like 2-3 feet. It has a single to double concaveto slight v out the tail. Awsome board to ride. Unfortunately the heat? took its toll and caused a bubble on the deck beside where I would have my foot. So the thing was I cut the bubble in a x and glued the bubble back down, glassed over it. Then I cut small strips to 1/8 thickness of pine, cedar and redwood. glued them to the surface using weight and tape to hold it. Sanded the wood down to approx 1/16 then once it was all filled and sealed I used a cote of epoxy no glass in it since weight was a factor. It is alot heavier than at the start but should still be lite enough. So the wood was to hide the x cut into the deck.
I would like to try this at some point with eps sealed, laminate the wood and glass. Like it was the plan.
