Hey Guys, I need a little 411 on doing a wood veneer inlay. This will be my first time. I am only going to do a portion of the the deck. I would like to know what kind of wood other people are using and what is the thickness? Also how do you go about seting it up? A little A-Z would be most appreciated. Thanks to all. Klein

Thanks to all.>>> Klein I’ve never experienced wood veneer technics but I think you’d probably have to use a vacuum bagging technic. I saw shorts clips in a video one time of someone hand laying a wood veneer in a long board. Just wondering if anyone has done this before. Klein

Thanks to all.>>> Klein Your over your head! If you don’t have the equipment for the job, STOP! You will need a small vaccuum pump and a way of drawing off the resin or adhesive that will be pulled away from the work. Until you have mastered it on a scrap trial piece, go no further.
