world title is ours!

nothing to do with timber boards but looks like us aussies are finally gunna win back the world title! take that kelly slater…

whats that about counting chickens???..

Good on ya. Don’t know much about the chickens, Who is counting? It’s about time some aussies brought home some bacon. Many good surfers and friends I meet and make are from oz.

they say never count your chickens till there hatched…

but stuff that!.. its ours i reckon…

thank the gods.

to thte victor belongs the spoils

may the responsibility for writing the rules

rest lightly on the broad shoulders

of our southern brothers.

…ambrose…

I won every contest I never went to

and signed over all my rights

to huntington beach to the bronzed

in the seventies.may competitiveness

not fully consume ya’ll

Wise words mr Curry.

ive never actually competed in any surf comps in my life, but i do like to see it at the highest level…

take that kelly slater…

yeah Im sure KS will be really depressed he wont get his 9th title.

pretty certain all the others are stoked that he’s near retirement.

(btw, the guy wasnt even that mentally commited this year and he is still in 2nd)

a nostalgic moment for me. it take me back to the 90s… uh,no… the 80s… mid80s.

Congrats.

You’d be a pretty brave man to bet the sheepstation against Kelly Slater if he is still in contention come Pipeline,

yeah i agree

kelly could just whip that rug right out

everyone thought the all blacks were in as well and see how that turned out

Hope that the title is decided at pipe.

You know what the funny thing is? I don’t know about others, but I’m hoping Kelly wins it because for some reason he feel like… the underdog.

yeah id like to see kelly win it

parkos my fav but hes out now isnt he

its anyones game

great year

it would be awesome if some one came in and upset kelly, mick and taj.

If Mick Fanning wins this year it would be a well deserved. Seemed to be totally focused on the task at hand. With two contests remaining, it appears to be almost a shoo in for him…but you can never count Mr. Slater out. Slater’s performance in the semis left a lot to be desired in Mundaka. Proves that he’s human like the rest of us. You have to wonder what keeps him motivated after winning so many world titles (I know there is a cash incentive). Whoever wins…I hope it comes down to Hawaii to determine the winner.

cash would be the last thing that motivates kelly. he’s just a competitive junkie.

i too hope it comes down to hawaii. nothing worse than it ending a contest beforehand…
