arron …i wont argue with that response …fair and valid …as far as gettin back you to when its all worked out thats easy for me coz i do have it wired right now and had it wired for ten years or more…dont forget the 50 year old technology you are using has just that, 50 years of refinement behind it ,i agree with you xtr from my own experiences hasnt got it …there may be a breakthrough ???..but i dont use the stuff coz i couldnt progress with it and it wasnt any superior to pu just an alternative like you said…what im doing is different again but i do use epoxy, polystyrene and a few other bits and peices ,unlike you i have no poly ,pu boards in my quiver what so ever, i would be dead before you saw me ride a poly ever again …i have found a superior alternative ,just like some one did 50 years ago,not everyone changed overnight and the first guys didnt have it wired straight away either but slowly leaders emerged epuipment was refined and board constuction changed, the change was spured on by the new guys coming into the industry…and im gonna quote a grommet who came into my factory…"were young we wanna learn about whats new not whats old " "i can learn to make weak heavy boards or these light strong ones"so regardless of we might think …if anything really is superior then the next generation will grab the ball and run with it… and like poly and pu slowly but surely bugs were ironed out and im sure many of the guys who come to this site were ;probably responsible for changes and improvements made …you can either say “the status quo is the go” or say no i think we can move forward and progress in knowledge and understanding of surfing equipment i wanna be part of it… i respect your right to stay where you are but from my perspective the grass really is greener on the other side… regards BERT
