yet another question about glassing

Im planning on switching to RR epoxy to cut down on weight and add strength to my fish when I start it in a few weeks. Also the benifit of cutting down on the resin smell would be a plus. My question is would it be okay to use 1 6oz layer for the bottom and 1 10oz or 1 6oz and 1 4oz for the deck? Which would be better? Im thinking it would be over kill if I go with the 2 6oz. I was also thinking that it would take less epoxy to lam the 1 10oz or it would at least be easier to lam 1 layer instead of 2, I might be wrong. Also Im not sure how the strenght of 1 layer would be compared to 2 layers that equal the weight of that one. I was also thinking of using what ever schedual I come up with on the rest of the boards I build if its something that can work. Thanks for all your help everyone, my shaping and glassing is coming a lot better, cant wait to start the next boards I have planned, Ive attached the plans for the next 3 boards I have planned. Hopefully I will be able to finish all of them or at least 1 before the end of summer

heres the pdf of the fish, I couldnt get it to work earlier

I think you’ll find that the 1 6oz. and 1 4oz. schedule is stronger than 1 10oz. layup. With the 4oz. on top, the hotcoat can be thinner so you not only get a finer sanding surface but it might not be any heavier than 1 10oz. layer.
