It would be this board. Surf everything from butt high to way over head.

The swiss army knife of surfboards.

This one.  6’6".  Works in anything from waist high to well overhead.  Plenty of foam in the right places so this one catches waves easy even for this old fart.

My 7-6 triple stringered Haut built in 1999.  Fun from waist high to anything I’m willing to paddle into.  Like you said, Herb, a swiss army knife. Mike

My 8"10 LB 14"N 21"W 14"T made anything I could throw at it easy 3ft- 2x-overhead.

My # 1-------2----------  and 3 are in storage on Maui.  So in the meantime whenever things settle down enough up here (NW) for an old guy to paddle out I’m on this.  I didn’t make it though.  I’ve never made a surfboard.  Just ask Reverber.

here is mine

its good from 3 feet to as big as i can handle

I generally like to go smaller as the waves get better, but if I had no idea of what they waves will be, I’d grab an 8 footer. This one works in both smaller and larger waves. It can handle anything I’d go out in.

Mike Daniels shaped custom Coil, 5’4x18.5"x2.13", works in mushy and punchy up to OH+.

thanks for the input guys !

it gave me some ideas.

now

it's time to build my spitzer/ambrose fun board.

time to catch some waves.
