1971 Surfer Mag Discovery

Right on, far out and groovy, Bill a man ahead of his time!  Funny how far we have come, ha…  Now we have a couple more wars that never seem to end, and almost everyone is smoking dope.  I like the flow of that tail, and the shirt is cooler than ever.

Hey Bill, wasn’t that the same shirt you were wearing at Sacred Craft?

lol

Did you hold them by the feet, or by the wings?    Curious minds want to know.

So I guess we need to take him school clothes shopping?

Almost blew Coors all over my computer screen on that one, Bill.  Good one.  Mike

Just bringing the topic back into focus.

Bill that joke is as old as your shirt. We should take our act on the road. I like being the straight man.

I remember some little stick on fins around the same time as those fins. Might be time to reinvent some stick on small bonzer type ones

Having seen this board again inspires me to recreate it.     The original is one of those boards that I've always regretted gettiing rid of.      This time I'll make it as a twin... [/quote]

"twin" - meaning two center fins, side-by-side Thrailkill style?  Looking forward to it, hope you can get some pics up too.

Having seen this board again inspires me to recreate it.     The original is one of those boards that I've always regretted gettiing rid of.      This time I'll make it as a twin.   Should be even '' mo bettah.''   I may even drop in a pair of those small fins too.   I've made boards from 5' 6'' up t o 9' 0'', using that template.    Mostly twins.

onya Bill, always thought you were ahead of the the pack !
