Looks unreal. Love the foil. Could you let me in on how you cut your outline so square???? I have the worst problem with that and I know it is one of the most important things.

thank you for your comments and questions,,,,
when I cut outlines,,I use a hand saw and stay just outside the line, making sure the cut is as virtical as posible. then put the blank rail up in the stands, and useing the bottom as referance, I sureform to the outline useing a T square to check for 90 deg to the bottom, then once or twice over with a sanding block.
Im getting good at masking by eye so I went at the deck and layed out the cutlap line, tapering in at the nose and tail.
then covered the rest of the deck for protection of unwanted resin stains
fliped her over and rolled out 6oz E cloth and trimmed it up.
next I mixed up a qrt of lamming resin with about 1oz of yellow pigment, then poured half into another bucket,
I catylized one of the buckets and proceded to cover the bottom avoiding run off on the rails.
after covering the bottom I had a few ounces left and set it aside (I know better than to add it to a fresh batch)
next I catylized the second batch and with a brush went around the overhanging glass and wet it out, This turned out to be a great way to go as I had enough time to wet the cloth and lam the rails without worrying about gell time.
The lam was ready to flip about 10 minutes after I did the rails (Friken perfect)
and about 15 minutes later I was cutting the lapline. The cut line came out perfect I was dancing around the garage. LOL!!!
Wild! That’ll for sure get oooh and aaaaahs. I’m just wondering how you’re going to get resin under the veneer strips? Or was the layout just to see what it looks like…
