As far as I can see, the Hitachi is 3.4 amps and runs at 15,000 rpm. Our planer is 7.5 amps and runs at 20,000 rpm.

Here’s one video from the Sacred Craft show last weekend.
The P20 Hitachi is 3.4 amps and 15000 rpm. DS has been using the F30.
Your 7.5 amps and 20000 rpm (!!) sounds like more than enough power to me, so I don't think DS or anyone else would be disappointed.

I guess your best off saving money for more wise investments like buying a new girlfriend.
LOL! Straight talk and a sense of humor; again lost on the descendants of convicts.
sways cracks me up
Youky! So a "muscled-up hooker in Sydney would save me a few $Bucks$?. What do you now about those girls(guys)? I've heard stories????? Makes me think of the Kinks song "Lola". Are you and Huey/Marsh invovled in that kinky sort of stuff?
lol
Ordered one today! Can’t wait to get it in hand.
I need to get a new planer and I realy want one of these…My employer just got forced to pay us all some back overtime $ that they screwed us out of…it’s kinda like “found money” so I could justify getting one with it…tempting, very tempting…
Just an FYI…they are made to order and take 4-5 weeks to mill. Still waiting on mine. Anyday now.
Cory
let me know what you think of it when it finally gets there ....it looks like a badass machine
mmMike: We’ve started a new grassroots movement called “PR4P”.
That’s “Planers are for Pussies”.
I have locked up my two F30 Clark Hitachi’s and everything is by hand. We allow hand planes, sanding blocks, rat tail files (for swallow cuts), spokeshaves and hand saws… there was much debate whether to allow surf forms.
I argued that I have always felt they went from a blending tool to a ‘crutch tool’ and are vastly over used and abused. The vote was 49 to 51 in favor of prohibiting them. I had to promise a lot of favors to get those few swing votes.
We are a (501C3) non prof orgainzation and there is some promise of a 7 figure Endowment of the Arts check being sent our way.
All you guys with your fancy dancy dust collectors, Skil this or that’s and now this Accurate (does it guarantee accuracy?) Planer… well, we wish you good luck.
REAL MEN HANDSHAPE. :0
P.S. Almost forgot… adz were substituted in place of surf forms, sure forms, surforms… however the hell you spell it.
Well I guess that shoots your six hour board in the a$$.
I’m no electrician so could someone tell me if we could use one of these puppies in Australia?
I think they make one for your voltage. I love mine so much!

We only make it in 110v so you would have to use a converter I think.

Accurate Planers
Im no electrician either, but its got me wondering, why would you bother to only make it in 110 volt if you think your planner is the best in the world, yet only some of the world can use it, its got me stuffed why you would do that.
Maybe if they sell enough they will come out with your voltage? They don’t make any money off them compared to there fishing reels so it almost like a fun side project. BTW they are the best in the world…
