Here’s my brother-in-law on a board I made him…

Nice work Kawika
Is that the board your brother-in-law is riding with that deep double concave?
Yeah… That’s my brother, Aaron Pallash… All three of my brothers (in-law) rip, Aaron, Damion, and Myles. But Aaron’s boards have to be reinforced in the foot area, so we usually go with a carbon fiber patch under his front foot after it gets back from the glass shop, like the one in the pic. He’s been riding my boards with carbon fiber and also Josh Bullock and I both made him our own hand shaped versions of his favorite Xanadu and we had to use carbon fiber. I just did another one without carbon fiber, but used x-cloth or impact cloth instead and it’s holding up so far. He’ll cave-in a deck in less than a month. We’re going to try Keahana on his next board.
I’m kind of digging the blue glass(?) sculptures above the garage.
Yeah, that’s my neighbor’s pad across the street from me. His house is probably the sickest I’ve seen. Each floor is a different type of wood… zebra… babinga… cocobolo… etc. The blue glass is computer etched and the garage doors are acid etched copper… he’s a super nice guy, and always welcomes the pop-in tour… Fred Kiko, 2600 block… Ocean Street, Carlsbad, CA 92008… check it out sometime… It was in San Diego Homes Magazine and in Archetectural Digest.
thanks for the props by the way… you do some nice work yourself!
