Are these essentially similar to the WMD blanks Warvel makes here in the US? Be nice to see down under picking up the same momentum.

no we have put a bit more tech into it but it has been a pain in the bum’’
but it is to serve the same purpose as yours.
compsand is a bit slow down here this blank will help a lot to go that way
as you know whith your blank it opens up so many more ways to go

hey greg im yet to see one, but ive got a 6 liter kit of resin research to glass them with when they do arrive
from what i hear they are pretty flash
ill fill you in when they are glassed
im going to use the fusion boxes on the first couple

Greg I think Huie got some photos coming your way soon. I’ve been working on the blank the last few weeks getting rid of some production problems with it which I have now worked out. The blanks are now coming out at 2kg and rock hard and much easyier to make, Huie picking up a few more on thursday so he can do more test on a few ideas he has. The boards I made some 5 weeks ago with DMshapes is working great with no problems at all and has ordered several more for his team riders. The blank size is 6’4" x 21 x 3" thick as we learn more about the blanks we will do some long boards to order. So for some local guys that are waiting to try the blank we will have some ready thursday. Sorry for the delay in production but I needed to make sure it is all ok with the blank. peter

what density eps foam are you using?
do you need fin reinforcements?
do you have any preshapes from testing that are going cheap?

So far we have not needed plug insert and any faulty blanks are going to Huie, we have blank ready now with or with out stringers 6’4" x 21 x 2 7/8

just picked up my first CDD from Pete and I am excited abt the potential of these blanks, cant wait to shape myself one and get it in the water. I am enthusiastic about some great new foam and I will be giving Pete all the feedback I can. I think I will glass it super light with 4 bottom and 6 deck ( or maybe a 4 deck, see how it is when I shape it up ) and really test out its strength…hoping to do alot of my shaping ith this in the near future…
