Foam. How do you like it?

CLASSIFIED INFORMATION**:**

ACCESS DENIED

If that’s a reference to me stoner, I sent Bg a pm, so you can talk to him about what I said, or he can just cut it and paste it on line, I don’t care.  I wished him all the success in the world.  Too bad you have such a negative outlook on life, I guess that’s why nobody calls you Bohdi.

I don’t post PMs ever.  Since GR said I can discuss this with others feel free to PM me.

It’s on the equipment though. So it can get everywhere, but I really think it has more to do with other additives (most surface tension mods have siloxanes dangling somewhere) and styrene’s low surface energy.

Abrading the shit out of the surface combined with somesort of solvent wash would probably be ideal. >surface area and expose more electron density.

In my current state this was confusing and alarming

the posting of your photo has undone your plot!

Huzzah we thought the chinese were the ones

plotting to undo the surfing tech empire but

now it is clear that you are fronting for the Boris "vodka  Odeskyoff

manufacturing empire! I should have recognised the russian spy

code name Holderlin used in the infiltration of the mexican tequilla cartel

in 1965,but alas 19 pages later the brain picking goes on…

I will add to the perfect foam shopping list.  Everything said before but:

A foam that does not absorb water but bonds well with laminating polymers.

I pulled this (great, entertaining, puzzling) thread up via a search with great interest but a couple of years too late.

I have a friend with an established manufacturing biz who is interested in changing directions and making surfboard blanks in CA.

Any one who has an interest in supplying foam to someone who can mold the blanks please PM me.  I sometimes check in days apart, so responses may take a few days, but eventually I’ll get the PM.

Has it really been 5 years?

I don’t like how I left this. I feel like I owe you guys something.

I ended up taking a way better, but demanding job in the Seattle area in aerospace. It was either launch a business on the side, or take a job at triple the pay and I just had my 2nd kid, so the choice was made for me.

I did talk to a guy on the phone from here though. I can’t remember what his name was. Good guy.

And someone also e-mailed me a photo of a bunch of tools, but they were $10k a pop and I did not have that kind of cash. Good looking molds though.

I’ve been flirting around with getting this or something like it going again.
