Your comprehension skills leave much to be desired, Stoneburner.   I offered access to 25 already built concrete molds, that are plumbed, but no takers.  In Texas, they have a saying: "All hat, no cattle."  The molds are just sitting around waiting to go to the dump, but it still takes $ to make it happen.  I have the skills, but not the $, you want to step up and fund it?  Who out there has the capital, and wants to make a better foam?  Better be prepared for some heartaches though.

I have started a cool build. (So I believe?)

Huie a couple of years ago said something that got me thinking?

“CORE”

I think about his assessments quite a bit.

He can be a bit Salty however he is a legit board builder.

I did get some test materials from Hank Johns of GM recently.

This turned on the light bulb in my tiny brain.

I had some Custom Blanks made by USB.

I had 4 of them made up.

llibel03 from Swaylocks joined me in having one of these special blanks.

I’m hoping to post this build.

Instead of letting it drag on I was going to post the whole build at once.

We are all at different skill levels.

This diversity is what makes this site a lot of fun.

Sometimes we get pissed on by own cousins.

The tread by everyday surfer aka (Mark Miller) was entertaining and I read every post.

Let’s turn this big ship around and find our way.

Good comment.  Time to get away from discussing personalities on here, and stick with discussing surfboard building.  That's where the stoke is!  (well, that and surfing!)

There are rules on this forum. Not many, but there are. For those of you who have not bothered to read them or have forgotten them, here’s rule number one: No personal attacks. That’s right, NO personal attacks.

There are some good ideas if you bother to read further down on the rules page. One is substantiate you claims. “You don’t know shit” or “I know more than you” is not a way to substantiate you claims nor a good way to contribute. Contrary to what some may seem to believe, people come to this forum to share ideas and knowledge and try to learn something, not to read page after page of bickering.

Stoneburner ,the “blabbermouth” comment was not for posting the results , it was for making too much noise while posting stuff that most people where already quite familiar with…you seem to be fishing for a conspiracy theory…there isnt one…ES took offence at my suggestion that no one is obligated to share their developments…and in doing so , had his own thread locked down…it was predictable , and certainly no threat to freedom of speech or the integrity of Swaylocks forum…

I will keep this civil, so another thread doesn’t get locked down.  It seems you have an issue with me.  Please explain your statement, “it was for making too much noise while posting stuff that most people where already quite familiar with”.

Please explain exactly what I did to make “too much noise”?  Feel free to quote anything I posted that was noisy.

Please explain your definition of “most  people” who already knew about it. 

Would you also prefer we don’t talk about other things that “most people” know about.  Sanding, epoxy brands, masking tape, spackle? would you like to add more to the list of banned topics?  We better not post about any more surfboards, because we are all already quite familiar with those.

Lastly, when did I convey a sense of obligation for others to share their developments?  I posted my own research, and when others such as yourself claimed superior knowledge, and my folly, I asked what I had gotten wrong.  Still haven’t gotten an answer to that.

If you have any more personal issues with me, please be a gentleman and keep it between you and me.  P.M. me with all your concerns.

“most people” refers to anyone with an interest in composite builds. The methods and materials you posted about are all in the archives and free for anyone to access , with a simple search…what you talk about is up to you , not me…a theory will always remain just a theory until a board is built and tested , and the best way to stifle progress is to spend too much time theorising and delay building and testing…its a basic tenet of the rule to “substantiate your .claims”…"knowledge", by the way cannot be superior…you can have either more of it or less of it…

Well I made the comment , and no , it was not directed towards you…as for the cerex thread exposing nylon and stuff , I doubt it . …The amount of bandwidth used because some people cant be bothered using the search facility is becoming chronic…I hope , in the future, we dont wake up one morning to find that the global pool of “band-width” has been used up , and the internet will no longer be available…
