ive seen it done by other guys...just because his name is jordy smith doesnt mean its the greatest move...ive seen photos of a kickflip (maybe)...now get that on video and were talking

That is sick

i dunno. seems like it’s surfing being used as a platform or medium to perform gymnastics.

I’ll argue. Pfffffft…guys (and girls) on boogie boards have been pulling better shit than that at Pipeline for years.

yeah doesnt he even mention something like “its what body boarders call a such and such trick?”

again…need video footage of someone riding it out…but this would be the sickest trick to date

Probably just another sad image of a performance-enhanced athlete whom Red Bull regularly sponsors.

Ingredients include:
Sucrose and glucose: Simple sugars. They are metabolised quickly by the body and produce a quick energy burst, followed by a deep energy deficit. High intake of sugar raises blood fat levels and leeches essential minerals such as copper, chromium and zinc from the body, leading to deficiency diseases, immune system impairment and even insulin resistance.

Taurine: Amino acid. No human studies have examined chronic toxicity associated with long-term intake of taurine. In animals it can produce a decrease in body weight (a sign of toxicity) and dehydration. In rats and guinea pigs, high intake is associated with liver dysfunction. Other evidence suggests that even relatively small doses of taurine can enhance the toxicity of industrial pollutants such as carbon tetrachloride.

Glucuronolactone: Carbohydrate. A naturally occurring substance manufactured by the human body. There is a paucity of research on its effects, and what there is has been conducted largely on rats. Here’s the problem. Rats metabolise this substance differently from humans and other mammals. No mammalian studies of glucuronolactone have been conducted, so its usefulness, and possible adverse effects, remain a mystery.

Caffeine: Stimulant. Increases heart rate and blood pressure and raises the level of harmful stress hormones in the bloodstream. In high doses, caffeine is dehydrating, addictive, and can reduce adrenal function and the body’s immune response. In pregnant women, high caffeine intake is associated with increased risk of miscarriage.

Flavourings: Adds flavour. Synthetic flavourings can be mixes of several industrial chemicals. They are essentially the same chemicals as perfumes and can thus be considered to be neurotoxins, allergens and potential carcinogens.

Caramel: Adds colour. Caramel produced by ammonia process is a common food colouring. This type of colouring has been associated with blood toxicity in rats. There is evidence that it may damage genes, slow growth, cause enlargement of the intestines and kidneys, destroy vitamin B and cause hyperactivity.

yea spongers have been pulling these for years, but believe me as a former hardcore sponger, a rodeo is a shit ton harder. This is by far the cleanest rodeo I have ever seen pulled too. and jesus I don’t think I have ever seen one pulled front side and it would be considerably more difficult frontside. I still think this is a way cooler trick than a kickflip. the only reason a kickflip on a surfboard is so difficult is cuz our boards are so wide and so light that the wind can catch them.

I doubt that kickflips on a surfboard will ever be mainstream and judging by the way that most surfers (the ones who don’t skate) do basic airs, I hope that the mainstream doesn’t succeed at doing them. Most of the airs done on surfboards are gay looking at it is - especially queer looking two handed spinning grabs. If you don’t skate, please don’t try to do airs. Josh Sleigh does skate and he looks half decent on a surfboard.

Also, I don’t think that you could ever compare bodyboarding to Surfing. That’s like comparing a tricycle to a dirtbike.

Leave that stuff to the boogie-woogies.

Will take nice rail turn off the top or tube over that any day.

for a young man eh??? He was stoked! probably still grinnin.

Just what is your definition of surfing?

Just straight up surfing standing up on a regular shortboard or longboard. None of this SUP or laying down like a lazyass BS.

Tommy Carrol doing a big snap in decent pipe many years ago. Haven’t seen too many of those since.

On boogers, we all ride waves and have fun. It’s just a bit more difficult to catch a wave and stand up, and then do some of this stuff.

Well, I’ll chalk it up to internet tough guy trolling but if you are serious, you’ve never seen Mike Stewart at Pipeline or Teahupoo.  With that narrow a worldview, you might get run over someday.

So you can compare the sport of Surfing to Bodyboarding by what one professional bodyboarder does a pipeline?

Walk to the end of kapahulu and check out what the kids do there every day on a sponge then call them lazy asses whom cant surf, dont forget to tell them they aren’t pros too.

or just post a pic of your sic trik.
