great foil & planshape. i look forward to seeing the keels & the final glassed, polished, pinlined result.
lob,
Are you going to bevel the butt crack? Mike
I just visited the glasser.
The work keeps going on.
Customers come frist off cours and my board comes after…
But it’ll come and surf soon.
Just a few sanding minutes and so on and it’s done.
looks great mate!
Pictures talk better than words sometimes.
…ooh la la , c’est magnifique !
well done , pote !
salut !
ben
you are from Bordeaux? That board reminds me more of a Champagne. Say, a 1990 Dom Perignon. What a beauty!!! Looks like it will be very fun to surf…
lob: such a beautiful waveriding toy! i’m stoked for you. congratulations!
Lob,
That is some fine craftsmanship. I am getting stoked just reading this to get started on my own fish! Just tell me, from the foil view it looks like you have a flat section in your tail rocker, is that correct and if so, how does this work? I have been hearing some different opinions about fish rockers and I would like to hear the nitty gritty about it.
About the rocker matter…
I mus say that pictures do not help the board as she is really fantastic in the real life… (kidding… a bit).
The fact is I had to do with a 6’5" from the 80’s.
At those times, rockers on blanks and board was different from what we see today.
Fortunately, I have a picture showing a cross section of the blank as I cout it by the middle.
As you ca see, the first half is almost flat and the seconf half really curvy…
SO…
I could not really do as I generaly do…
But I’ve tryed the board in 40cm high waves… it looks like everything is fine.
Who is this handsome young man holding your half-blank in the picture?
A dangerous psycho-blank-killer some people say…
