no not unless i buy them but im trying to save up for a new board so im saving every cent
here is my wife on the first board i made
#001 on its maiden voyage
7’1" fun board singlefin
Here are a few of my “Matchstick” charging up the River Severn this spring.
Dodgems…
Leading the pack…
I have just completed my yellow monster, 10’10"x28.5 river board, test drove it in 3ft glassy waves at Widemouth last weekend and it went like a dream, had a pro photog in the water who took some pics, when I have then will post a on here.
This is a 6’1" Scott Anderson “The Evolver” model. Its a 2+1 setup I had a 7" greenough stage 6 fin with some side bites. Nice easy fun point break wave, lots of cutback sections in the wave.
First session for this board I shaped…waxed it on the beach right after I got off the plane. One guy out, swell just showed up and my wife on the point with a 300mm lense.
hey chip,
my son doing an impersonation of me… following in dad footsteps…close enough?

the older we get the better we were!
.
riding a Bonzer. A single fin inline with a thruster shape (1998). And a shape with a rear sligthly larger rear fin and 2 “tunnel” stabilizers
and here is the current Uruguayan open champion with a board that I built
Ben,
this may get dangerous - appealing to those narcissistic tendencies present in most of us. Here’s a reef/point that has broken 4 or 5 times like this so far this winter (this photo was taken about 3 weeks ago now). Board is a 6’10" McCoy with a 17" wide tail.
Cheers
Rohan
I think this is the only board I made that I have pictures of… Its from that small day at that cool contest… I already sold this board to someone it fit better who is heavier than me…
1.
2.
cool thread chipper!
man , I am LOVING this …
thanks for the idea , Oldy …
keep 'em coming guys !
any photos of you with [showing] the boards you are surfing in the photos would be much appreciated too , guys ( and you too Rachel !! )
…I still think this would be great in a “Swaylocks” video …
a minute of you making the board, a minute talking about it , a minute or two surfing it …voila…with 30 or so people contributing , you would have an edited 30-45 minute swaylocks dvd .
Maybe the surfing could be filmed at the next swaylocks campout weekend , the shaping at the next cerritos or keith melville shaping day , and the talking about each board then , too ?
oh well…it’s nice to dream , I guess …
These were all taken by our friend boardheads2 - at the CCB Pier.
