POSCA PAINT PEN ARTWORK

try “Aervoe” clear acrylic. It is superior to any Krylon product. Dries faster, is harder and is non yellowing. Fiberglass Hawaii in Oxnard has it.

ResinDude,

Thanks for the tip on “Aervoe” Clear Acrylic. I’ll have to give it a try. I have tried a few different acrylic coats currently out on the market and have found Kyrlon to be nice, but the Aervoe sounds promising for the various qualities you mentioned and what is listed on the website. I must note that I originally started out using the Posca brand pens, among others, and found that I prefer the Zig brand the most of the few different types I have tried.

For those interested in the Zig brand pens here are a couple more links and pics…

Resindude, how do you apply the Aervoe. I have a gallon of it and not sure how to thin it or what. Spray? brush? How to clean the gun?

you can buy it in spray cans…i think that’d probably be the easiest method of application.

if you’ve already got the gallon jug, might wanna try and pick up a “Spra-Tool”. it’s another product from Aervoe. turns your liquid into aerosol delivery. disposable. not sure i’d wanna shoot it through my spray gun/compressor.

Howzit Staytrue, I think it’s Krylon who also makes a triple thick acrlic spray. I have a couple of cans of the stuff but need to look to see if it’s Krylon. Just checked and yes it’s krylon and it’s called triple thick crystal clear glaze.Aloha,Kokua
