post Hull pics

nice wave! nice turn! nice shot! gotta wonder if that’s really really cold water, the black makes it look frigid but that wave is so worth it!

yeah McMals - that’s the 6’10 that KJ made for Tim Elsner that i bought from some drummer guy (Taliban Steve) who loves his 7’0 GL - he just picked up that 6’8" Hilbers parabolic hull from Molusk V and is falling in love all over again i think…great things to say about it but only a few waves had on it so far given the fading S this week. we may head north earls for the NW bump Thurs or Fri???

Anyone check SKs Speedos !!

Gotta wonder how far back that turn started

and when it’s gonna end…

That’s a pretty committed turn. I guess that’s why he went to thinner boards. A thicker board won’t want to stay buried like that for as long.

Doesn’t he also have one of those yellow 6’3"s?

Hey KP- Speedos, No Leash. No Wax- Used wonder how it all came together, as I watched from the water- Had a certain Zen Vibe / Apex Predator thing going!-

That’s him, I also got some good footage of him Monday.

Is there gonna be some limited editions of those too? Ahh Hahahahahahahaha!

yeah Steve is the guy with one of the yellow bottom 6’3 Liddles - Musko it’s been named? there are 2 words i can say about the foiled chippier hulls and stubs at age 37

the first one is “rotator cuff” - though it should be noted this is an issue even if i didn’t surf or swim thanks to drawing and painting

the second one is “yoga”

the yoga helps out at the times when this thread should be called “POST LULL PIX”

… and a doodle

the second one is “yoga”

That explains the Speedo.

hey i do some yoga – keeps you flexible – important when yr built square like me. for the past few weeks, been doing these ‘Hindu pushups’ too. ( do a youtube search) – telling ya, really helps my surfing out.

And the winner is…

jaws-hands down…that board has so much going on-design wise- in 7 feet, just as much as velo did in 5 feet. of length…

not to be compared to Jaws, my 7-0 PB on a small day here. It does float my current 190 lb better than my 25 yr old 6-6 blade

I agree, I too practice some.

I’m hung up on the Speedo…

BOTH! different boards on the same day for different people. stick with what works for what you want to do, both outlines are sick - easy to see why some over 40 - 45 (or 225lbs) wouldn’t want to ride a Siglo …then again it’s cool to evolve and ride something different longer or shorter - try new shit

…speaking of trying something new, those Hindu pushups look like monsters - no namaste

Itchy , nice turn! gonna send Liddle the Jaws template and have him just do his thing, normal thickness and foil maybe some 7’ to 7’6’’ smoothie Jaws for us older hullers.

Kirk,

What are the dims for Jaws? How does it differ from the Dirt template Greg already has?

Thanks!

itchynscratchy - ditto KPs remarks on yr turn – hope you don’t mind i put yr pic up inline

Nicely buried.

McMalibu, here’s some more Speedo action for you!

These are the shots Paul Gross took that appeared in the short write-up in Surfer’s Journal a few years back…
