where??

Those pics of the new Vaqueros are the sweetest. Truly superb. I can hardly wait, Marc is making me an 8’ pintail version for an upcoming Central America trip. He is one of the best. Really a combination of form and function.

ooooooooooooooh my god those are unreal…i’ve always liked marc’s shapes but those are truly spectacular…hope to see something like them at the sacred craft show!

Rode the 12 footer today up in ventura with a friend and had a blast.  I’ve never had so many people come over and absolutely stop to check the thing out.  It’s a show stopper.  The Grace, The ride, The speed, The glide is beyond words.  Actually, marc wrote that on the bottom and it’s all of those adjectives and more.  I then drove home and had another session on it, and the board CONNECTS.   I talked with marc today and i have two more that i’m picking up at the craft.  8’8" pintail, and a 9’6" diff gun!  If you want to check em out, you better get the early.  I plan on removing them quick so nobody puts there slutty hands and my new girlfriends!

My new Andrieni along side Tommy Trim with his Paul Gross semi…shaped in the Our Blue Planet Shop on Thompson st. Ventura, Ca. circa…1993/94

Malibu guys might remember Tom as one of the outstanding surfers in the 80’s and 90’s…who influenced some of the young Malibu crew…like Gamboa…Dane Peterson…Josh Farborough and others

The Point Dog is puttin pressure on Putnam with that partial view of quiver…When the word garage comes up…the question will be…the Pool Man’s or the Point Dog’s?

Point dog get off of your roof before the brown units take you to the hospital!

my goodness!

Wow!

What is the backgound and history of the Gyros?

Beautiful boards on this page! Amazed…

I have a few pictures of the first Gyro, i will try and dig them out. Marc made me a 6’10’’ roundtail around 76 cause I took it on my Honeymoon, it was really was a GOOD board. The name comes from an old ad from 1969 Petrillo ad with Tiger Makin , Dru Harrison and Eddie Underwood, one of the boards was a roundtail they called the GYRO. I just always remembered  that nice roundtail and thats what we called my board. Tim has me beat on Vaquero quiver for sure.

OH LORDY, MAKE IT STOP

Kirk, it would love to see those pictures and hear more of that story.

Tim, how does Gyro differ from Vaquero, both dimensionally and experientially?
