Spence when you do stringerless sleds like this 7 footer, what is the glass schedule? That board is such a gem! Any photos of the seven 4 tapered stringer to stringerless?
In the neighborhood of 3" thick.
6 oz Volan bottom
6 oz + 6 oz Volan deck
The 7’4" will be ready on Wednesday. Stay tuned.
Thanks.
looking for an “upright” style hull flex fin, i know this is a design site but i am simply looking for purchaseable fins,
i want something with LESS rake, than say a greg liddle flex with similar characteristics,
Please throw me a line if you know where a fella could pick something like this up,
Thanks,
m
Are you looking for a flex fin with a template like the classic Bing Turn fin (commonly referred to as an upright noserider fin)?
You might think about trying the PG Designs 9" Nail.
We also have some 8" models being made that should be ready in time for Sacred Craft where we’ll have a booth. These fins feature a blunt leading edge, and a very positive flex pattern. They fit in beautifully with our design philosophy: Fluid Kinetic Propulsion.
you could try the Andreini flex by Rainbow fins…
I’ve used a Rusty flex by rainbow & liked it, but then I cut it down smaller, and then smaller again, and oops, too small!

That’s the mystery. KP mentioned when I posted it a while back that he thought it was sombody in Santa Barbara with help from somebody else (I’m not being vague just cannot remember). I think it was the guy’s first or second one.
We picked it up at the Beach House a few years back.
Nice spence, those are gems. I’m fiending to pick it up. let me know if this weekend will work. Maybe saturday early, early
i met my new 7’0 up close last week at Klaus’ place - it will be at the Sacred Craft show, so if you’re bound to be in attendance please make sure not to put your thumb print into it, she’s tight. this board, beautiful as it is, remains very hard to shoot outside of a shaping bay because it’s so damn blanco and direct sunlight makes it’s graduated elevation plan curves fall out flat - first impression upon holding it’s belly to my ribs was that it was one of the lightest hulls i’ve seen in this range( though it still needed one more coat prior to it’s completion, and yes… she’s thin ! i can’t wait to put this in and over onto rail ! psyched for summer and stoked to see SC - see you there
q man
that second picture is radical, what type of equipment did you use to shoot that? print it? or is it all digitally manipulated to look old?
super curious.

I believe Mr. Q is using the ShakeItPhoto Apps on his iPhone.
I love Apple Technology…
Here’s an odd 7’11" Mini Longboard Liddle:
