I guess that’s not “Ocho Libre”?

Kirk,

Do you think you can post some pics that show the hull of the board? Maybe even with a T-Square or some straight edge across the bottom as a reference?

Thanks,

that’s ocho libre…

What’s the story behind “ocho libre”?

Kirk, thanks for the pics with the straight edge. It really brings out the hull depth for those who can’t see the board in person.

well, his shop is not far from my home-anyway, i was passing by-on saturday- and thought i’d stop by to see if PG was there(he’s known to show up now and then on saturdays). no PG, but i got an itch and next thing ya know spence and i were mapping out an 8 footer. i ust wanted to use the computer to develop a template-nothing more. i gave him numbers, we fiudged it a bit, and came up with what looked like a nice template. i had no intention of getting a board- rather, i just wanted to see what the template and rocker would look like. satisfied, i was ready to leave when spence said he might have a blank that would work. i liked the stringer set-up and the foam, so we went for it, it’s thin and sweet…like they say-carpe diem…

it is 18.5 by 22.75 by 15 by 3 with thin, round rails. rocker is pretty damn flat as well…not too much hull…

thanks for sharing these pix

GL zoomed that one alright and like how, man - DIG!

What are the dimensions?

7’0’’ n. 19 w. 22.75 t. 14.75a cpoy of one Gregs

that one looks beautiful - would be ideal today

i was right next to JS’s stringeless Spence when it hit the rocks today, so close i heard it crunch - i was bummed for him when i pushed it back his way, but he kept getting waves

whoa belly

Thanks…

6’6", and 6’8" I got in January, and now a 6’4" that I just bought from Shelter…Thanks Graham!!! Short and wide, but yes they still run!!
