This evening, it’s 9.40 pm and 35 degrees C, and after watching Top Gear and some other rubbish, one son yelled that there was a spider in the toilet…My wife responded and said …Oh, it’s just a little Huntsman. ( a variety that can be as big as your hand)
And then the older son said

“…You’re not in Kansas, anymore. You’re on Pandora, ladies and gentlemen. Respect that fact, people. Every second of every day. If there is a hell, you might want to there for some R&R after a tour on Pandora. Out there beyond that fence every living thing that crawls, flies, or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes out for jujubes…”
Been shooting pics for a long time. A few interesting ones.
Tragically the wing walker and pilot in this picture were killed in an airshow accident last year.
Back in the late 80s the big show came to NJ for the infamous Garden State Pro. That was the contest where the ASP got stiffed by the event promoters. I snuck my dad’s expensive 35mm SLR and his 300mm lens out of the house and went up there. He’d have killed me if he knew I had that stuff on the beach. Got a bunch of great shots that day. Here are a couple of scans I had handy.
