I’m almost positive I saw this board being carried through the boardshow today. Either that or one very much like it.
Can’t forget about our own Leslie (aka Fatty) when it comes to perfect resin work. Snapped these pics during my last visit to the Fattyshack…
Can’t tell by my horrible shots, but the middle board, a Hastings blue tint, really pops–looks like it’s glowing.
A nice gold opaque with fading double pinlines over EPS.
A really icy blue full board tint. Sometimes I have to talk people out of pinlines because her cut laps are so sweet.
Keep 'em coming!

Yes, it was there, along with it’s shaper. They were in the Fresh Pineapples booth. It’s my favorite board from the show.
Are there any Pro’s out there doing tints on EPS?
I’m doubting it. Not knocking EPS. Its all I do. Just wondering.

Bing Copeland just posted these tints on another forum. Hopefully, he won’t mind me resposting them here. I thought the comment was great…
I would like to share my 1958 Velzy balsa pig board. We were going for solid colors at the time because we were tired of looking at all those clear wood boards. This one was yellow on the top and red on the bottom. It’s been redone and is hanging on the wall in the Piha Surf Lifesaving club house in New Zealand.

Thank you! I was looking for Brom’s website this morning but couldn’t find it. Beautiful stuff there. Who does his glass work?
That lam looks close but I don’t think those are Brom boards. His bird has a chicken head on it…

OK, I’m impressed. And motivated to try it myself. thx
You know, on my epoxy resin splashes, I’ve seen moments of greatness, but not consistency. Seeing those boards makes me want to try again.
I believe you are correct!
Then whose bird is that?
Darth,
Come on now, you got us all excited with the sneak peak pictures, wheres the real thing…the boards are going to be amazing im sure!
