red tint pintail with matching sidebites…

Nice one Pico......talk to me about the fin placement....I like it ,,,,but my gut feeling  tells me to put the side fins a little bit more foreward....

and what's up with the leash?

Overall I see one killer Red Rocket! Love to see some surf photos!

thanks stingray

the sides bites here are small and set at a high angle; like a bonzers, I’m hoping for more of a channeling effect throught the concaves and around the fin. a bit like training wheels for the pulled in tail. they are at around 13" +/-, so should be ok. we will see how it goes. more of a cruiser, draw a line and go rail to rail kinda of a feel.

glass on leash loop, tinted red also, just haven’t put the nylon rope thru yet.

Hey Pico - love that board - really nice shape - very well excecuted. Got one a little similar planned for the near future but thinking mine may be a quad.

Cheers

5’6" “Wedgie” with cut lap tint.

pico - mind sharing the dims on that red beauty of yours? I’m shaping a slightly similar board (round tail, almost round nose, very pumpkin-seedy) and I’m currently trying to figure out what to do with the fins

Pico, OK, you nailed it. Nice design, nice shape, nice glassing. I love it.

But why red, for God’s sake?
