Show us your resin tints and patterns!

YO DARTH-

Amazing work, your an artist and craftsman!

…very good looking board and truly good work

how can you obtain such a clean floor?

man, if you see mine…

thanks

If you look at the next rack you can see the tape lines on the ground.

I wanted to share pics of a tow-in board Kaysen made for Rusty Long. My boss has it now hanging on his wall.

Not a tint but definitely a pattern. All resin pigment. Handmade one piece fin to compliment the resin pattern.

Troy

Nice work Austin!

Here is one I just finished for a friend of mine.

And one that I did for myself.

Both are EPS/epoxy and are the first full sized longboards I have done so far at 9’6" x 22 1/2" x 3"

is the black done in the lam or a resin panel under the web?

hard to tell in the pics…looks like its a white opaque with a black resin panel taped off with the red web on top. must be for a biker lol

Vade,

Yep, white in the lam and then pigment black on the hotcoat followed with resin pins to make the web. Not for a biker but someone that wanted to mix old school shape with modern graphics.

Troy

I had just a couple pics of the process. pigment nose cap. Sand and then lay down the lines for the spider web. First the long lines. shoot, sand, and then the other lines.

The fin was made in one piece of wood. Then basted about 20 times to prevent crystallization.

Filled, glassed, and sanded. This was pregloss.

Troy

Troy, great job -as usual-, what did you fill the wooden web with? Pure resin? Chopped glass-fiber in it? Other?

wow that Web board is sick now i feel embarrassed to show my first resin swirl. but ill do it anyways

wonder where i got the idea for this one. very hard to do with one set of hands!!!

bat tail i just finished

Austin…

right on man if you dont mind i might have to do something like that for my longboard.

that fin is insane. and the nose web makes me want to punch a preppy. lol

PaulUK it really cool to see your time spent on the hill has given you the “pride”
