It’s working now… Sorry.
Kaysen Rules! They glassed a couple of my boards!
T.
this is an older board i did, the painting was done on the lam, then hot-coat over.
also, i thought you guys might get a kick out of this. the sand dollar is painted with water color then laminated and hotcoated for strength and to seal in the pigment- the next step is to figure out how to route one into a board
here is my latest board, for the girl friend. the painting is done with acrylic paint on the foam. thanks for all the dirction and the insperation. keep this thread alive, it’s the s**t
Just put it in! I put a pull tab from a beer can in my first board. The nose of the
blank was broke off and there was a big void on the nose/deck about an inch back.
Tape a dam, pour some lam, set your dollar, and off you holler!
Man that was kooky.......
I agree with morghead – it’s gotta go in.
The first board I ever made for a friend, he insisted I route a small puka in the stringer/foam to hold one of the plastic rams that come around the necks of bottles of Celebrator beer…
It is a truly great beer…
here is the the " grass is greener " , 6’0" 2+1 for a friend :
cut laps, no pinline …
A " fivezer " for me 6’8" blue theme …
more to come…
Both look very fine. Too bad that the photos are so small…
I have one of those bocks(billie goat) hanging from my rear view mirror. celebrator is a wonderful way to celebrate a finished board.
A few from today.
Nice resin pattern.
Looks like you’ll have a much more creative excuse for losing your homework than “my dog ate it”. “I was right in the middle of this beautiful resin splash and realized I needed some paper for my deck fill and…”.
Ryan,
Haha yeah it was actually my brother’s. whoops? It was in the recycle bin. I can’t be blamed if it was meant for a higher purpose.
Tint and acrylic 5’8" single fin
another pic of my 6’8" fivezer :
i’m liking that one too Rachel
i may try to emulate it
you’re doing some good things over there
after 23 pages i have a huge callous on my right palm.
All polished up
i have seen the “light”,where can i get an application to join the darkside, the price i have to offer is my soul!
