Looks great to me but I just started shaping and glassing this summer. At some point I hope to have one of mine turn out like yours so I can proudly post the pics.
Even with my glassing nightmares I am having a blast!
Keep it up!

Good stuff guys. I just though I’d give a shout to The OneOB.
Here’s one from a bit over three years ago that inspired many to think outside the boundaries.
Incredible…

WOW!!! how do find the time to do that many colors?
this is a nice simple and easy to do one. it’s a performance board for an aussie surfer called Dale Richards - but i don’t like using paint.
the other two a 9 ft longboards that i did for myself and my mate. the blue longboard was done with freelaps on top, because my mate wanted it that way, but i did cut laps on the bottom because i reckon free laps like these look like poo.
i’ve been shaping and glassing for a few years, but have only recently started with tints - because i was working in shortboard factories. so much more fun doing it at home by myself now (but more mess, as you can see in the pictures!).
So many great boards! This thread is a fantastic inspiration for the board not yet made but still a sparkle in the eye. Myself? well this is only my second board and second attempt at a resin swirl. No great shakes really when looking at some of the work on this thread. But in the name of ‘participation’ , here it is. A bit muddied in the top left. Not a totally original idea. But a launching point…

Stunning stuff you have here. I just have a few questions. Are all the colours on your four colour board added at the same time, or do you add a colour and squeegee it out then go on to the next colour? If the former, are you using a new squeegee for each colour? Where the colours meet, do you use a paint brush or just the squeegee? These may be novice questions, but I am what I am.
Peace and blessings

two blues have no idea why your not happpy with that swirl…very cool those colors go well and give the tint real definition…for your second looks like your a natural…keep up the good work
Here are some new ones. Let me know what you guys think. All resin work, no airbrush.
Blue tint with S stringer.
This was my first flamejob tapeoff for resin.

Pretty good for your first tape off. Pretty good if it were your 100th. OK, amazing. Really.
