HOLY COW, Paul. I just checked back to see the latest post here and saw your board. That thing is gorgious. Seems so hot, it should melt into the snow. You have to tell how you did that.
Beautiful!
Looks awsome Paul!
Hope you figured out your shops heating!
thanks greg, john and surfding!
Zeph has really helped me get my tints right.
cant tell you how to do it wouldn't be fair on him.
though a tip would be to adapt what austin did in his video.
cheers Kon!
yeah i now have some ceramic infrared heaters in the sanding and shaping rooms that are real nice to work under
though heating the glassing room takes a bit!!
Here’s my first attempt at a swirl. I’ll post more pics once it’s hotcoated and sanded and installed the probox’s. I’ve only glassed a handful of boards (usually take 'em to the glasser), so I’m pretty stoked how it came out. 5’11x21x2 5/8 Round Tail Fish - Quad
It did muddy up a bit when I pulled the resin. (mistake #1) Should have used more to prevent the “muddyness”.
Apologies in advance for the poor cell phone pics…better ones to come.
Here is my new to me speed dialer with the matching fins picked up on craigslist with a nice resin tint
i frickin love this site, this thread! gorgeous swirl jobs, tints etc. big mahalo to all you guys for opening my eyes! learning always... aloha!

I love this thread. Some great looking boards. Im shaping an egg on and off at the moment, and two things are certain. It will have a solid glass job ( 6x66 ) and a resin tint of some kind. I;ve done one only, which didn't turn out too great, but im willing to try it again.
Great boards guys.
