I live 5min from the superbank, the place is a joke when it pumps. It’s not surfing when your out there with so many people. I hate it.
The wave is so so good, it does your head in trying to get a good one. 1 in 5 surfs might be a good one.
I resorted (during the last run of swell) to surfing at night under the full moon and no shit, It was crowded then. Like propper agro crowded, people yelling and shit.
I snapped my leggie that night, thought my board was lost forever. It ended up at Kirra.
Strange days here on the Gold Coast… Sharks in the waters and Crowds like never before.
Do you imply that more sharks attract more crowd? haha! Surfing there under a full moon sounds like a dream, only if you remove the aggro crowd tho

Judging from the heat I’ve just watched a bit of, a Mini-Simm’s wouldn’t be a bad choice for the conditions it was being staged in.

Lots of great white sharks, my home town Lennox Head-Ballina coast line is quickly being labled ‘death coast’, It’s truely scary, all the crew are freaking out.
All the popular spots are super crowded (safety in numbers).

The dead whale that eventually washed up on the beach at Yamba is what attracted the sharks to the Ballina Evans Head area, by the time it washed ashore there wasn’t much left of it.
