I think that with that heavyness, fast and offshore wind conditions (due to the length and nose rocker) will not possible to ride a decent wave in Pipeline

may be only a drop

so like Dlock say may be with a jet sky will be more adequate for the take off

Pipeline super clean conditions (that is very difficult to find…) seems fit better for the board

and

what s the schedule to surfing the board?

what s the person who is talking with the possible big riders?

which is exactly the day that looking for?

etc

for me, will be very good if that board have success toobing pipeline

and great for the designer builder

what s the problem if not from USA?

I know that he claims and rants about how good this board will surf Pipeline, etc

and all in a not so polite way

but for me will be ok if the board works

because like I put in the GL thread about his design, to have world wide success and to be contagious

the surfers need to see the board in action in different conditions (or for what the design is intended) winning some championships, surfed by top pros…

and I m still not see any footage of GL Hawaiian trip

and we only see that R R clip with this other board

but that is not the challenge

I’ve started about 4 posts in the last 8 months the latest was to let the people that do use our system know that we updated our website. That’s it pal. Every other thing that I’ve posted was in response to a question or adding a comment to something that had little or nothing to do with our system.

Paul–I always enjoy it when you get going. Youve made a real show of yourself at the other forum–it’s been great to watch.

But like I said, if you’re still pulling Roy’s wagonload of horseshit after he deleted his YouTube video where he made all the claims about the PIPELINE CHALLENGE board, you’re being had.

If I remember right the Pink Panther was a thief.

And what about that, Roy? You actually pulled your big-talking video the very day I posted a link to it here? Not that I didn’t utterly expect it.

And HOW did it come to pass that you took a bunch of donations from your friends and then at the dock in Hawaii, Hawaiian ends up footing the bill? And you haven’t reimbursed them yet.

Who are you to make such a personal non surfing related judgment like this on a public forum. If you have some substantial criticism of Roy’s board efforts this is the place, but cowardly digs at a man’s children is crossing the line. How is that any case against Roy’s Surfboard challenge. BTW: You do your share of promoting here and Surfer mag don’t you? You make your share of claims and you don’t like it when those claims are challenged. Seems like folks that challenge your claims are either shilling for your competition or trolling rather than simply disagreeing right? You say you don’t post things about your fin system? No…YOU don’t always post them, but you do have your group and they do post the stuff. It doesn’t really bug me to be honest because folks know who we all are and when we write about stuff we are familiar with it’s all sort of promoting. Also…I have no issue with you calling Roy out and challenging his claims. Thats what forums do.

When Roy makes repeated, unprovoked, slanderous attacks on a shaper’s body of work, a shaper that doesn’t even have a personal presence on the forums in which Roy initiates the attacks, is he not attacking that man’s livelihood? And when he attacks the man’s livelihood, is he not attacking the means with which said shaper is supporting his family? In effect, isn’t he doing his best to snatch bread out of the mouths of that shaper’s children? And that’s NOT an attack on a man’s family?

No the attack you mention on a shapers body of work is not an attack on the shapers family in question. The two have nothing to do with each other. When you put your work ( shapes ) out for sale, you must be willing to take some criticism, attacks and etc. Roy should also be able to take the criticism for his own comments and work. I don’t think any shaper or businessman should be immune from sever criticism…it’s how they learn and grow. Sometimes it’s deserved when they put out claims. However…Lokbox was making broad sweeping very personal assumptions about Roy’s family that none of us know about. It’s off limits in most civilized parts of society. It should be on a public forum.

Lokbox is contributes good post on this form most of the time, which is why I expect more out of him than this.

To some degree all of us that are in the business are self promoting just by writing on a forum where folks know who we are.

I am not defending anything Roy has said…he is a big boy he can defend himself. I just think the family stuff is out of line.

I still don’t know why folks continue to needle Roy if they don’t want to dialoge with him. He has been banned and yet the ones that dislike him the most are the ones good for numerous post about him. Why not just ignore the threads??

In the instance I am talking about, the shaper in question has NEVER posted his boards up and attempted to sell them. Anywhere. He doesn’t post online. At all. So I just can’t see it your way. You attack a man’s business/means of making his living with falsities, all bets are off. You pretty much give up your high ground when it comes to crying/whining about fair play. Lying about someone’s work with intent to damage, as Roy has done repeatedly, will get you sued in most businesses. It’s called libel/slander. Surfing is a bit different. There’s no money to pay for lawyers so people like Roy get away with it.

As for Roy being banned, he’s posting on this thread as Pinkpanther. So apparently not.

The 13 footer is what it is. Discussing it’s merits and demerits would be refreshing regardless of the “unillustrious most argumentative banned one” who built it.

Frankly I thing if someone paddled out at Sunset on it today they might just get a ride before they got completely pounded. Taking a board of its size, weight, rocker an outline out in big powerful surf is in its own way a death wish IMHO. Hell you get caught inside just once and you’ll be dragged forever and there’s no way in hell you could punch through oncoming surf approaching shoulder high.

Howzit GWS, I was thinking the same thing,how did Roy get back after being banned. I guess all a person has to do is sign up under a different user name. When a person is banned from most websites the website blocks the banned ones online connection. Not sure if this website is set up to do that,if so then roy has changed his ISP. Aloha,Kokua

There’s nothing quite so wholesome as Pink Panther Milk.

If only I had some I too could some day punch a 40lb+ board through triple overhead surf. I could be the secret is to turn the board around a paddle out tail first. It certainly would get through on comming surf a little better that way.

Maybe we’ll see such a feline out on the north shore during these present and ever building swells of Late November and December of '08. I fain in weakness and desist to the beach, at least until my hip is healed and I can a proper feline wet-nurse. Ah ~ Milk! The drink of champions!

OK solo, once again it’s fair game for Roy to say whatever he wants about whoever he wants and his “group” get’s all over my case for saying one thing? Unreal. BTW he’s been doing it for years. I apologize for saying what I did but Roys excuse for not coming over and riding his board himself is what keeps this BS going. He mentioned he had 12 kids and that being the reason he can’t leave. I didn’t just bring it up out of the blue. I find it ironic that he makes these expensive labor intensive boards…and doesn’t have two nickels to rub together to even get to the beach. But spends all day SPAMMING several message boards and the focus goes onto me for calling that out? He slams americans REGULARLY as well as their lifelong businesses and nothing gets done about it. If I told one person…ONE to f8ck off on here I’d be banned instantly and you know it. How about if I posted a certain fin set-up on here and someone came on and said they didn’t like it or couldn’t get it to work, then I started calling them names like “limp wristed” or posted up pictures of chickens or said “cluck cluck” ? For the record my comments have absolutley NOTHING to do with Bonzers or fin box drag. It has to do with Roy not getting the feedback he wanted then going straight into name calling and disrespecting the very people that are trying to help him out and hawaiians in general which is real lame IMO.
