Funny Charlie, I thought you were Goofy Foot. I haven’t seen the outer reef at Green Lanterns, but I did see am outer reef break outside the Kahe Power Plant down towards Ko’olina. It was a huge left breaking about a mile out. I saw it during Huricane Iniki. Don’t remember what Green Lanterns looked like that day, but the waves along the Waianae coast were monsterous. I was mainly looking for wind damage to the electrical system, but we stopped at the power plant and went up high to get a nice view of the coast and that’s when I saw that wave. Looked like a perfect left, but it was at least 20’ and way out.
I was thinking about the regular Green Lanterns break, when it gets really long and hugs the coast. Bernie and I surfed it once when it was pretty good, but not the long ones when there’s more north.
