I had some very fond memories of that board.
I have the same blank(7-3 Becker/Clark), bought at the same place ,at the same time as the travel board blank was obtained.
Yesterday ,I bought enough rez and glass to flood a 19 footer under.
Today,I shape and paint.
Tomorrow,I start the glassing.
By Friday(or so),The Travel board’s little brother will grace the same waters that it’s older brother has carved many tracks on.
Thanks to Bill Thrailkill for the free 10.5" Bahnebox,and George Greenough for selling me a pair of his fins(when he really didn’t want to) back in the early 70s.(The fins will work killer,as they did in the bigbrother board).
I will also add some side boxes,Thanks to Tomatdaum for the donation of the Red-X boxes and plugs,so I can ride it either in a TRI / SC-TRI / or MY FAV = Traditional single.
Also… a special Thanks to Brad Nydell at @ Foam ez for the blanks ,and Brad Basham @ Basham’s for the glue and threads.

I don’t plan on it being a travel board, as it to be handed off to others ?..but as a travel board for me to see things in common places,That I possibly over looked,or to see them in a different light.

How cool is that, to see your travel board way down in Australia? I had heard a few of Proneman's stops were spot on, so it's nice to see your board got to the location(s) w/o delays, or distractions. On fin breaks, or shipping charges to defer.Anyway, was Cowboy Curtis the guy on Peewee’s playhouse? I think that whole series was born at Cal Arts.
