Hi Well to tell the truth there is a bigger surf scene in austria as you can imagine. Most of the snowboarders head ti france in summer ansd give it a try. We have also a few riverwaves. you can see it at www.riverjam.at Well there are severel guys called alex who surf so robably i mighht know him. @ bert_burger As i know patrick actually comes from belgium and lives here in austria/ innsbruck right know. He works or worked for Burton Snowboards and did something with the air&STyle contest which is a very big SNowboard contest in Innsbruck

My mom’s family is from Devon. In fact she is there now visitting my GREAT Aunt of 98 years. My Great Aunt lives in Braunton and Aunt lives in London. Used to belly board as a kid in the summers at Croyde. Next time I cross the pond I’ll have to try to hook up with some of you.

Since we do have river waves here as well, how do you guys paddle into them?

Grew up in Salinas, California (Monterey Bay), now residing in New Orleans, Louisiana (11 years). There is surf down here in the dirty South!
