Does white gorilla glue only come in 2 oz quantities?
Anybody know where I might be able to buy larger single volume?
Any equivalent substitutes.

I do…
Care to share …?
Or are you trolling?
Gorilla type glues are based on a MDI (methelene-diphenol-isocyate) that cure at room temperature by reacting with ambient moisture by the introduction of a tertiary amine. This causes the the glue to appear yellow in color. The introduction of zinc oxide will produce your desired results. Man, I thought someone like you already knew that…
Yes, zinc oxide for blocking ultra-violet; titanium dioxide for toothpaste.
So many words without answering … I must be getting sharper.
Let’s qualify – a commercially available pre-mix available off-the-shelf – either larger containers of white Gorilla Glue or its generic equivalent (polyurethane glue).
I’m just a backyard hack who likes to make surfboards etc …
That was a perfect answer, sorry you don’t understand… What are you going to do with it anyways?
Glue EPS. My previous qualifiers are enough and the original question sufficiently specific.
Enough meandering.
You could also replace the tertiary amine with tin for an ambient temperature cure provided that the substrate is porous enough to allow air to come in contact. I do not know about the titanium dioxide for tooth paste, and this is a thread about gorilla type glues, so try not to wander. Stay focused, perhaps reread, maybe you’ll see the answer is already there. Be creative, I know you can…

white color
white color
Not premix/supplier. Done.

Now if you can snatch the pebble from my hand, grasshopper, you will be enlightened…
I couldn’t take it any longer. lol
So I’ve just sent an e-mail to the manufacturer of Gorilla glue asking them if they produce the white in larger quantities…
It should be a day or so for a reply being that it’s Sat.
I had the same question come to mind a few months ago, perhaps we’ll know soon…
This is almost 7 oz. of PU glue that dries white, Loctite makes it. I've used it and it works well, but you have to keep it closed tight or it sets in the bottle (just like Gorilla Glue). Also, you can add white pigment to regular GG. It won't be perfectly white, but pretty darn close.
Don't foget titanium dioxide in oreos.......mmmmmmmmm deliciousness
Or the cabosil in some catsups, they use it as a thixotropic agent, oh I need to stay focused. Yep, just put a little pigment in any MDI glue and it comes out white enough, so you do not have to use the overpriced gorilla glue. What a sticky subject.
I’m enjoying this.
Another rodent inspired hijack in progress.
@ surfthis
Will a hotwire cut through the Loctite without much resistance?
And yes ghetto, I already know polyurethane releases cyanide in the fumes when burned. I’m familiar with organic chemistry and don’t need a label read.
Wow, some like to immediately take it to the lowest common denominator. Was not really aware that people read where you came from Bg, as you have already told me your disdain for power tools, and now your versed in organic chemistry I am impressed. Ha… .
LCD – LMAO
Ah yes … baited hooks … and the distinctive scent of troll.
Shaolin Masters kiterider and surfthis, your enlightened posts are appreciated.
kiterider, let me know what you hear from Gorilla. A 2-oz bottle seems a tad impractical.
But…the white Gorilla glue is NOT a urethane glue, but an Aliphatic glue, carpenters glue with white pigment, I have glued EPS with it and had the joint fail, wait long enough and it will eventually wick the water out of the glue
