Hi Dave just started a 19 footer and have a 21 footer drawn up but can’t see myself going longer than that, so no length record because there’s the Nev board ( really a tow in board) at 42 feet and also some Brazilians did a 25 footer (it didn’t surf too well and snapped on the first time out) .

Just an update…
The Official Launch will take place at my girl’s primary school on Friday 2 March at 12pm.
I’ve got our local member of parliament coming along to officiate and newspapers,TV crews etc lined up…
I figured that once I get the Official record the stakes will rise (I hope!!)
I’ll let you know how it all goes…
That thing is totally bonzer man, great job. So the shocks have enough power to level it without springs?
Not really Nathan, they’re a 50/50 shock that gives enough resistance to control the side to side movement…
You actually need to move to the other side of the board to straighten it up but it’s no biggie…
I’ll put some coil overs on when I go for the “Most amount of people on a skateboard” record…
They’re not that hard to retrofit…
It just got me thinking, when I was little I thought it was the shocks that did what the springs really do (Rebound), but it made me think of it. Some coilovers with light springs would be ideal.
