Hi Ben, Mark (Beerfan), etc.
I am coming to Sydney for the 16th and 17th of February (a mates wedding). If you want me to take the board back with me on my return flight to Melbourne then just let me know (as long as there is no one else up there who wants/needs to surf it or anyone further south who wants it to travel along the coast to Vic instead).
I’m not sure where we are staying yet as the wedding/reception is Baulkham Hills/Homebush (don’t ask!!!) despite the fact he lives near Maroubra. Anayway, just let me know whatever you wan’t to do - the offer is there.

Nah, my dad lives an hour away, so i only got some when i picked up the board. Im still struggling on it, i must be a front footed surfer, i cant seem to turn the bugger quickly!!. Paddles ok, catches waves ok, i just cant turn it. MDS was keen to have it next, and he’s just up the road, so i’ll get in touch with him.

wow iv been off sways for just a little while now and the last i heard of the board Josh had it back at avoca. hahahaha looks like the thing took off down south ay. hows it been riding for you beerfan and what sort of waves have you been riding it in?
Rode it twice in small mushy waves. Paddles great, catches waves great, but i cant get the hang of turning from the back. Tried surfing off the front ( im more front footed ), but it didn’t seem to work for me. Just pm’d MDS, he’s just 10 mins away, so i’ll hand it over to him soon.

I took a lot of foam out of the nose to reduce the swing weight…
It loves back foot surfing and will turn just by thinking about it…
So glad you enjoyed it…
We need more pics of it being ridden…MDS…
I could turn the board, just not as quick as i can turn my other boards. My experience is probably a major factor.

Hicksy, i passed it on to mds ( mick ) the other day. He sounds like he’s got a bit on, but hopefully he’ll get it in the water soon.

I still have the board, but I still haven’t had a chance to ride it as yet.
As Mark mentioned, I have been really busy demolishing half of my back yard for a pool.
My part of the project has finished, for now, so I will get it out on my next days off next week. (with one eye on the lookout for sharks, there has been a few around here lately)
I will give a good go and then pass it on. I dont want to hold it up for too long.
When I got the board from Mark. the centre blue fin was loose. I replaced the screw that was put in with a new one and its right now. I was thinking about repairing the broken black fin, but I will have to sand it down where it goes in the box, re-laminate more glass onto it, sand it down again to fit into the box and drill another hole for the screw.
A the moment I hardly have time to surf so I dont want to hold it up for to much longer.
I will keep you informed
