post Hull pics

hey matt…could that be someone posing as Putnam? That guy apparently has something other than a Tecate in his paw.

Kirk,

Where is the wide point on that board? It looks like it is not too far ahead of center but that could be just an illusion.

Thanks,

classic liddle 7 foot roundtail-sweeet! it’s probably 8" above center…

7’0 - nice round number… i want to ride them all - beautiful

oooooooooooh I like that one alot…classy

any way to get more photos of all those fin templates hanging from the ceiling???

6’’ above center.

Thanks. It didn’t look as forward as other pointbreak types.

I like the shape of the nose and tail though.

Some better pics of the 6’ stringerless twinny hull from a few pages back (single layer 6oz deck and single 4 bottom out of an Ice9 blank):

and a 6’3, also stringerless

fun fun fun!

Sweet rides Ryan. How do you like the Ice9 blanks? I’ve heard mixed reviews, but most seem favorable. Shaped my first Biofoam couple of weeks ago and it was an eye opener. I was so used to Walker that the Bio seemed really light. Heard that Ice has a similar feel. Do you experience the tears in the foam that I did with Bio? It’s not bad, but it makes you slow down. Not such a bad thing really.

Anyway, I’m feeling kinda loopy and should go to bed. Been awake with long hours and little sleep since Thurs…night.

Cee-yah-man-yawn-a…

The Ice9 blanks (cane formula) have been good for me…way harder than USblanks, so it does tear a bit if you go too fast, although I know my blades are dull at the moment.

Im really enjoying it so far, the best part is the savings on all the glass though!

Check out the Foam E-Z hull quiver.

what’s the 2nd one from the left ( green fin) ??

Thats the one I just made.

The bottom looks ROUND! Gonna take some oooomph to get that buggah going. I think you’ll like the fin as far back as you can get. “Roll in the bowl on a tiny hull…” Cundith, 1975?

Lee thats just what I was thinkin. Rob when you put a lot of hull on those small boards it takes a lot wave to make um really GO, also you gotta watch how far back you you run that soft rail.

Ya, I kind of over did it on that one.Your right about it taking a lot of wave, I’ve been riding it lately in some mushy beach break and it wont even get in the wave.

Wait until you can get some decent shoulder to head high waves before forming any opinions.
