Had a Surf Prescriptions board in the early 00s and wanted to somewhat recreate the glass job on my 5'8" SubDriver copy. Two 4oz layers on deck, one 4oz on the bottom. Dark green tint on the lamination, clear resin with glitter on the hot coat. No gloss, just buffed out the 600 grit sanding - spent a bit more time buffing the bottom...
A lot of the glitter collected in the center of the board (where I poured for the hot coat) and down at tail where it was taped off.

Thank you bgsurf....It takes big balls to do color work like that...and it takes big balls to pull it off and post it on line!......... "mass confusion"....or "controled contortion".....?....or a lucky mistake....the world will never know.
It reminds me of Jeff Ho's Zephyr surfboards , dogtown era sprays [ " P.O.P." style] ..... single fin days , as seen in the 'dogtown / z-boys' movie and dvd ....YEWWWW !
thank you FINS …stingrey, best described as “CONTROLED CONFUSION”… haha… i am an artist, i am also starting to do resin art peices as well. the abstract look is what i had in mind, and i just went with it. my slogan is “OUTSIDE THE LINES”… meaning, think outside the box, do what you want to do, not what everyone else is doing, i want to share whats in my head!!! ill be working on more boards just like this!! more simmons and longboards too. im 26 yrs old and i plan on sharing my stoke with the world for a long time!!!
