Admittedly not as good as Austin’s mexican blanket boards, but I gave it a shot. Epoxy over EPS made it interesting. Next time more resin is in order.
Rachel – that looks great! I’m staring down the barrel of an eps/epoxy board due to be glassed, and I’d love to try and replicate your results.
Would you mind getting nauseating with some detail? Thanks, and in any event, great job
Etmo, the details are pretty slim. I used (total mixed material) 12 oz of green, 6 oz of blue, 6 oz of clear, and 6 oz of yellow. I only added hardener when I was ready to move on to a different color. I poured clear first, then yellow then blue then filled in with green. Next time I plan on using a lighter green and working a lot faster and possibly with help. Not an easy one for me to do, but I like the result.
I poured everything on then raced around with the squeegee to wet everything out and fold laps.
this is so rad it made me farkin sign up! super jedi props to master wyatt!
