For Riomar

Rachel,

Very nice!!! As a fellow epoxy user that has never tried a swirl, can you give us details?

Max, it’s pretty similar to what the poly guys are doing actually. Both swirls on that board were the “One Bucket” type. I mixed up several smaller cups of colored resin and then poured the base color in first and then the other cups after that, pouring from about 1-1.5ft above the bucket, kind of moving up and down. You can watch the resin splash in and changing your height changes how far it penetrates into the other color. Gives it some variety is all. Then I pour it on using some sweet imitated Moonlight Glassing techniques, let it sit for a minute, then spread it around the board so everything is covered. It’s important to use a little more resin than usual. While 12oz would have been more than enough for one layer of 6oz clear, I used about 15oz on the bottom for the swirl.

I really never glass anything clear these days. I much prefer color, even if it requires a bit more patience and skill.

Lokbox one last one .Wyatt can glass!!

Riomar read the e-mail I sent you.
