girvin
how about that bottom shot again????
really not interested in doing black again for a while, its been maybe 3 years since my last one…and now i remember why!
That will be a hot board.
Sick board Girvin! It looks like you have apprenticed with Darth. Have you?
Yes I am a student of the darkside, LOL I was actually hanging with him after I did that one I wish I could of talked to him first. The board looks way better in person I can’t get a good pic of it bc of the polish. It washes out al the color.
Has anyone used flourescent dyes together as a swirl ? {poly}
Just curious. Layed down a magenta tint bottom and got me thinkin bout an infill swirl.
Bottom came out much lighter than expected.
Didnt mud too badly but
bled under tape, Damn !!

thanks ken.
that one was done back in sept after the fish fry, rich pavel was in my workshop shaping a few days later and liked it.
i tried it in a different way a few weeks back and got it completely wrong way to much colour on it luckily the customer liked it. :o)
been doing a few nose caps recently they are fun!
hey ryan
thats cool looking!
did you do the panels over the lam or in it?
thanks!
the lighter green and red dots are done in resin and the dark green panels were done after the hotcoat, i’ve been playing a lot more with paint effects over resin tints lately with some cool results!
9' 10" x 23 1/2" x 3 1/4" matching cloth inlay top and bottom done with epoxy, this is just the hot coat, now to sand, pinline and gloss. Tom
