the kids are alright...[photos]

How you doing ben,

Yeah, I might still go with that name.

This is what it looks like in Japanese… let’s see if this works…

ŠC

Nope. Oh well.

BTW, got things set up to start building boards here!

Stoked!

With this warm fuzziness going on around here, fears, joys, mental blocks etc, I thought I’d bring this one back up to see what peoples kids are now up to 6 months down the track.

Still skating

What are your grommlets up to?

"What are you grommets up to? "

Well, let’s see…

…ummmm …still blowing ‘puffer fishes’ / ‘blowfishes’ on spin dryer doors at laundromats , by the looks of it …

‘boys will be boys’

ben

we now return you to your normal programming

Good idea, Hix…

The big one takes his snowboard off-trail now (he’s 7 1/2) :

And the little one skis sometimes and throws (and eats) lots of snowballs (he’s 6 next week):

you have KIDS , Ben ???

Now , THAT is a worry …

It stopped raining long enough to walk to the beach! My boys 3.5 and 5.5 years old. I took them to Grey Whale Cove and they buggy boarded the river into the ocean, normally a trickle. No pictures because I only brought one board so I had to break up the tugawar.

Take care,

Ian

I love that T-Shirt Logo…

I am so happy that they jump out of bed in the morning and badger me to go to the beach…

i can hardly wait for that…

i’ve been studying this photo of a lower leg and foot for the last couple of weeks trying

to figure out goofy or regular…

I told my daughter Isabel (llilibel) , if you want to surf you’re gonna have to make your own surfboard, just like daddy.

Here is my oldest walking down to the beach to float around on the surfboard. She is still a bit afraid of the waves, but she is getting more brave by the day.

Pony rides are fun too. Me on the left, Paige (my oldest) on the pony.

My youngest at the same party

okay, a bit of photoshop

Some of these kids weren’t even born when this thread started.

our two natural footers kicking back in hot tubs after a morning at the beach:

mmmm, camping…

My first time seein’ this thread. Good stuff. Oldy, that’s a killer shot.

Stoked you are.

Great shot Oldy.

My daughter Isabel was born in June 2003. I took this shot of her head.

A couple months later these shots were on every newspaper and tv news report with headlines about “Isabel- category 5 monster storm.” Sometimes when Isabel would really cry I’d say, “Oh, that’s category 5 alright!”

My grandson Bailey and his first board that I recycled, 3’11"

And where do you ride it???
